RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 is very similar to RCT, but with the advantage that you can build vertically. Most of the information in this RCT Loopy Landscapes reference guide also applies to RCT2. Utilities, scenarios, and other enhancements to RCT2 (including the Steve Franks RCT2 Track Packs) can be found at this RCT2 Gopher selector.
Here is a 
playable demo of original RollerCoaster Tycoon. It is a full working version of the actual game, with the exception that you cannot Save or Load "Saved Games". This demo is a great way to introduce new players to RollerCoaster Tycoon (do NOT install the demo on a computer that already has RollerCoaster Tycoon installed).
